Oh man, this is going to be sick! Fugazi is releasing footage captured from their touring years. I had the privilege of seeing Fugazi at Club 101 in El Paso, TX back in the day in the side alley. It was epic, truly awesome.

Just posted all of the tracks recorded at Double Time Studio in El Cajon, CA with Edgar Ferguson. My father and a badass. If you like country, you’ll like his music. He has a voice from hell and it’s like fine wine, just gets better with age.

These are a compilation of songs that he used to sing when I was growing up. Way too good to sit on these tracks.

Randy Ponzio. Love, Peace, Foundation and Family

This week has been a little tough, we’ve had a couple of tragedies to some friends. One of them, I’m going to share with you all. Mr. Randy Ponzio passed away in Vancouver, BC this past week. He was such a great guy, I grew up with him in El Paso, TX. We skated everyday together and we started the music journey together though travelling different paths. Today, Randy has made a huge impact in the Vancouver scene and the love he’s getting shows.

Randy Ponzio was good at everything he did, and decided just in the past couple of years to do music full time. He started getting the recognition he deserved with shows opening for Ziggy Marley and winning 104.3 Shore FM radio contest for his song, For The People.

I wish he was still here and I’m still in shock that he’s gone. At 35 years old, Mr. Randy Ponzio has impacted so many people. Here is a podcast dedicated so some of the work he has done.

Time to Man Up and Donate – Che Cafe Could be Closing!!

UCSD’s iconic Ché Café faces possible shut down. Time to man up and help out a local venue that has been giving bands opportunities to play shows. Not too many all ages venues around anymore.

LA JOLLA — An eccentric icon that sits, literally and figuratively, on the fringe at the University of California San Diego is danger of shutting down.

If its student and volunteer operators cannot raise enough money to pay the annual insurance premium due in the spring, and the Ché Café is forced to close, it will be the end of one of the several lives of the wooden structures at the southern edge of UCSD that have been a haven for leftist politics and countercultire since shortly after they opened as the Coffee Hut in 1966.

The latest record from Primus is out in stores. I’m always up for hearing what Les is up to, but I’m also a big fan of one of the most under rated guitar players…Larry Lalonde. Very stoked to be checking out this record. Always inspirational when I feel in a creative rut, helps you think outside of the box.

Green Naugahyde was produced and engineered by Les Claypool in his personal studio, Rancho Relaxo, in Northern California, and features Claypool, long-time guitarist Larry LaLonde and drummer Jay Lane. Lane was in an early lineup of the band, and was also in Sausage, a 1994 reunion of the 1988 Primus lineup. Green Naugahyde expands on Primus’ incomparable sound and also sees them bringing it into the next millennium. It is a cerebral and complex album that, like all of the band’s output, is teeming with the band’s signature blend of whimsy and underlying darkness.
